Showtek is a Dutch sibling EDM duo that’s dabbled in various subgenres while scoring international hits with some of the biggest names in electronic music. • Brothers Wouter and Sjoerd Janssen began releasing singles as Showtek in 2001 and dropped their debut album, Today Is Tomorrow in 2007. • Their focus has always been producing. They only began DJing because their music started selling well, and that led to offers to play clubs. • Showtek hit their stride with the siren synths and pounding four-on-the-floor style of Dutch house. Their 2013 hits “Booyah” and “We Like To Party” typify that sound. • The brothers have a regular collaborator in David Guetta. They’ve paired with the French EDM superstar on numerous singles, including the 2014 international smash “Bad.”
