Margaret Glaspy

Blending lyrical, introspective songwriting that blends acoustic folk with a raw rock edge, Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Margaret Glaspy first emerged in 2016 with Emotions and Math, a debut that was both intimate and powerful. Over the next few years she honed her sound over a subsequent EP and 2020 follow-up album, Devotion, which took her arrangements in a lusher direction. Glaspy's third record, 2023's Echo the Diamond, returned to the electric guitar-centered style of her debut, bringing with it a more spontaneous approach. She surprised fans with an off-the-cuff covers EP, 2025's The Golden Heart Protector, then worked with producer Joe Henry on her fourth album, 2026's I Am Both.
