Quatuor Psophos

The Quatuor Psophos (or "Psophos Quartet") has established itself over the years as a respected presence on the European chamber music scene. Prizewinner of several international competitions and a frequent guest at numerous concert halls and festivals, the ensemble has cultivated a repertoire that combines the great works of the string quartet tradition with a sustained interest in contemporary creation and lesser-known repertoire. This approach is reflected in its recording Schubert: Quintette imaginaire (2025), devoted to Schubert's musical world and its imaginative extensions, and forming part of a discography distinguished by its diversity and spirit of exploration.
