About The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Merging post-hardcore intensity with melodic, emo-driven alt-rock, the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus are a Florida-based band who rose to prominence in the latter part of the 2000s. Their 2006 debut, Don't You Fake It, was an immediate success, yielding the multi-platinum hit "Face Down." With its lyrics about domestic abuse, it introduced the band's commitment to socially conscious songwriting and activism, a trait they have carried throughout their career. After 2011's I Am the Enemy, they went independent, self-releasing their next two albums, including 2018's The Awakening. Despite numerous changes in personnel, the band remained consistently active and returned in 2025 with their sixth album, X's for Eyes, released by the Better Noise label.
