Arsenal Efectivo is one of the leading groups in the trap corrido movement, a style of music combining influence from modern hip-hop and more traditional narcocorridos. ∙ Their 2017 debut, En La Fuga, reached the top 10 of Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums chart and was nominated for a Billboard Latin Music Award. ∙ At the 2020 Premio Lo Nuestro, the annual awards that honor the best in Latin music, “Platícame De Ti” was nominated for Sierreña Song of the Year in the Regional Mexican category.
