Skilla Baby

A protégé of Detroit rapper Sada Baby, Skilla Baby is part of the Motor City’s latest wave of hip-hop talent. ∙ He began releasing music as a teen, but he truly picked up steam in 2019 with his first album and a string of singles, including the socially conscious “Trevon.” ∙ Basketball has been a recurring theme in his work, most notably on 2020’s Carmelo Bryant, which featured fellow Michigan rappers Sada Baby, Rio Da Yung OG, and RMC Mike.
