About Rylo Rodriguez

Rylo Rodriguez exploded onto the Alabama rap scene with songs that incongruously sampled classic pop hits. • Raised in Mobile’s Roger Williams Projects, Rylo found fame on YouTube with songs like “Project Baby,” which samples Mariah Carey’s 1996 smash “Always Be My Baby.” • Rylo parlayed his early buzz into a deal with Atlanta rapper Lil Baby’s 4PF label imprint. • After appearing on Lil Baby’s Street Gossip project in 2018, Rylo reconnected with the Atlanta MC for 2020’s “Forget That,” off Lil Baby’s My Turn album. • Taking note of Lil Baby and Rylo’s chemistry, Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo recruited both to join him on the menacing “No Chill,” off the deluxe edition of Bag’s 2020 album Time Served. • It isn’t all hard-hitting raps from Rylo. He showcases his versatility by crooning in his Southern twang on tracks such as “No Fentanyl/Camera Roll.”
