About Ryan Stevenson

Ryan Stevenson is a contemporary Christian singer-songwriter whose guitar-driven tunes blend worship music with secular soul and pop styles. ∙ At age 18, Stevenson was given a guitar by his youth pastor, then spent years developing his music while working as a paramedic, leading worship, and playing local shows in Boise, Idaho. ∙ He was a cowriter of Christian hip-hop star TobyMac’s hit “Speak Life,” which received a 2013 Grammy Award nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song. ∙ The title track of his 2013 EP, Holding Nothing Back, was his first entry on Billboard’s Hot Christian Airplay chart, rising to No. 14. ∙ Stevenson won a 2017 Dove Award for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year, thanks to his chart-topping “Eye of the Storm,” which featured rapper Gabe Real of TobyMac’s band. ∙ No Matter What, his 2018 album, produced three Top 10 radio hits: the title track, “The Gospel,” and “With Lifted Hands.” ∙ In 2020, along with his Wildest Dreams hit single “Amadeo (Still My God),” he debuted his podcast, Weathering the Storm, with such guests as TobyMac, Amy Grant, and Bart Millard.
