In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Performing at the legendary Club Babyhead in my hometown of Providence, RI November 09, 1996 with Earth Crisis and Corrin. It was the last time east coast bands grew up together loving and supporting each other for the classic rock & roll dream. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Graeme Revell, The Crow (Original Motion Picture Score / Deluxe Edition) Pearl Jam, Ten Tori Amos, Little Earthquakes (Remastered) Tori Amos played her piano like a guitar in concert. I watched the 1992 Freddy Mercury Tribute live and on VHS everyday after school. I loved Queen but I heard/saw rock music differently as EXTREME performed. Kids wanted concerts to be raw and live. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lightspeed” “Lightspeed” found the core of lyrical writing I could give 200% live. A musician should respect their fans connections to songs. After I found that lyrical zone, I loved sharing and repeating the moments fans sang during a show. It is beautiful. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was performing in Oklahoma going from one club to the next. I sat at this one venue and was in awe of the amount of players who brought every type of instrument imaginable. Accordion, piccolo, banjo, brass. No particular genre played… just music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To perform at folk festivals around the world. Learning other world music styles. Language and emotion like love, hurt, and celebration of life are expressed many ways musically in other cultures. I loved listening to Spanish folk songs growing up.
