About Lorne Balfe

In 2009, composer Lorne Balfe won a Grammy Award for his work on The Dark Knight.

∙ Since 2001, he’s been part of Academy Award-winning soundtrack creator Hans Zimmer’s stable of composers at Remote Control Productions.
∙ Balfe composed the ASCAP Award-winning score for 2017’s blockbuster The Lego Batman Movie.
∙ His Emmy-nominated “Picasso Suite” from the series Genius premiered in Picasso’s birthplace at the world-renowned Malaga Film Music Festival.
∙ Balfe has composed scores for numerous video games, including several Assassin’s Creed and Skylanders titles, as well as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
∙ Along with Hans Zimmer, Balfe composed “One More Voice for Freedom,” an anthem saluting Amnesty International’s 50th anniversary.
