Hunxho

Atlanta rapper Hunxho (pronounced “huncho”) established his point of difference early on, naming his 2020 project Street Poet while laying down a sensitive, melodic style that welcomed us into his world. Born Ibrahim Muhammad Dodo in Greensboro, North Carolina, in 1999, the soul-searching MC has landed bountiful collabs with fellow Southern rappers like DaBaby and 21 Savage, while still doing his own thing across a stack of mixtapes and EPs. Hunxho explored his romantic vulnerability at length on 2023’s For Her and its 2025 sequel, adding groggy Auto-Tune to his heartsick flow. Subsequent outings like 2026’s Not One of Them have employed that potent vocal effect again, whether he’s responding to the hollowness of newfound fame or the capricious nature of money.
