Singer, rapper, and producer ELHAE is a modern R&B sensation who’s worked with everyone from Christian hip-hop stars to Ty Dolla $ign, Wale, and Kehlani. • ELHAE was born Jamaal Jones in a military family that ultimately landed outside of Atlanta. He sang with his mother’s gospel choir and formed the group Movement of Truth as a teenager. • He began to develop as a solo artist with the 2013 project Champagne Wishes, a showcase mostly for his rapping skills. • The stage name ELHAE, pronounced “L-A,” is an acronym for “Every Life Has An Ending." • He cultivated a fanbase through the self-released 2015 EP Aura. Songs like “Sam,” “Halfway Love,” and “Drive Me Crazy” each earned more than a million streams. • After signing with Atlantic Records, he released the album All Have Fallen in 2016. It snuck inside the Top 20 of Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart. • His 2017 Ty Dolla $ign collaboration “Bang Your Line” became a major streaming hit. • Raised in the church, ELHAE has regularly collaborated with Christian music stars like Andy Mineo, GAWVI, and Tedashii.
