Best known as the bassist for Guns N’ Roses and its later offshoot, Velvet Revolver, Duff McKagan is also a singer/multi-instrumentalist with strong Seattle roots. McKagan notably played drums in the Fastbacks and guitar in 10 Minute Warning before heading down the West Coast to L.A., where he joined Guns N’ Roses in 1985, remaining with the massively popular hard-rock act until ’98. In addition to performing with Velvet Revolver, McKagan occasionally leads his own punk-inspired group, Loaded, and has recorded with rock luminaries such as Iggy Pop and Mark Lanegan.
