About Andrew Belle

Before recording his first album, 2010’s The Ladder, Andrew Belle won a John Lennon Songwriting award. ∙ The Ladder’s title song spent several weeks at No. 1 on iTunes’ Singer-Songwriter chart. ∙ On his second album, 2013’s Black Bear, Belle shifted from an acoustic sound to an electronic approach influenced by M83, Beach House, Washed Out, and James Blake. ∙ Since 2010, he has been part of singer-songwriter collective Ten Out of Tenn, which has also included Ashley Monroe, Butterfly Boucher, and Trent Dabbs. ∙ The lyric of Dive Deep’s “T R N T” comes from Robert Frost’s poem The Road Not Taken. ∙ Belle’s songs have appeared in more than 100 films and TV series, including Castle, Cold Case, and Grey’s Anatomy.
