About Amber Run
Singer/guitarist Joe Keogh and bassist Tom Sperring have been playing together since grammar school and formed Amber—as the band was originally named—while attending college.
∙ They got their first break when a BBC DJ fell in love with the demos Keough had uploaded onto the BBC Music Introducing site.
∙ In just their fourth gig, they performed at 2013’s Reading and Leeds Festivals, which led to a record deal with RCA.
∙ Amber Run’s first full-length album, 2015’s 5AM, reached No. 36 in the UK.
∙ They showed their versatility by reimagining six songs from their third album on the 2020 EP Philophobia (Unplugged).
