Ala Dos Namorados

Ala dos Namorados was a band based in Lisbon, Portugal, who played all styles of Portuguese music. The lineup of the group was João Gil, Manuel Paulo, and Nuno Guerreiro, and their accompanists were José Antonio Santos, Ze Nabo, and Andre Rocha. They recorded five albums: Ala Dos Namorados (released in 1994), Por Minha Dama (1995), Alma (1996), Solta-se o Beijo (1999), and Cristal (2000). Nuno Guerreiro died on April 17, 2025, at the age of 52. ~ Gary Hill
