Chris Cohen

Songwriter, arranger, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Chris Cohen makes sophisticated and gently psychedelic music, rich with texture and unexpected turns. He spent time in the 2000s leading indie group the Curtains before a stint as a guitarist with Deerhoof. He played with these and many other bands before striking out solo, bringing his personal songwriting voice into focus on his 2012 solo debut, Overgrown Path, and developing that voice on subsequent albums like 2024's Paint a Room.
