In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first musical inspiration was my dad and his favorite band. I'd listen to my dad's music and watch his — and soon my — favorite band's music videos and imagine being just like them, and I loved hosting "concerts" in the kitchen with my ukulele. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? MUNA, MUNA Taylor Swift, Midnights Taylor Swift, folklore These albums blend sound with storytelling, which are the things about music that move me the most. I love the storytelling and songwriting of folklore and Midnights, and the electric, grand sounds on MUNA and Midnights send me to the moon. Tell us why you chose this song. “Downpour” I've been making music for about eight years, mostly in my head, and Downpour was the first time I wrote and made a song at the same time. It fell perfectly into place — it felt new and exciting — and I knew immediately it was my debut single.
