Citizens

A wide-ranging and inventive Christian rock group originally from the Pacific Northwest and now based in Nashville, Citizens employs a melody-driven and emotionally resonant brand of faith-based alternative rock, blending elements of post-punk, praise & worship, art rock, and electronic indie pop. Led by vocalist/guitarist Zach Bolen, the group -- initially known as Citizens & Saints -- released their sophomore album Join the Triumph in 2014 before reverting to Citizens with 2019’s Fear. Subsequent efforts The Joy of Being (2020), I Can’t Find the Edges of You (2023), and m us eum (2025) saw the band continue to evolve their dynamic sound and powerful message.
