In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents are both musical, my dad plays guitar and my mom sings and plays piano. From a very early age I was surrounded by music and began singing at church. I loved being able to share my voice and feelings through voice wherever I could. Tell us why you chose this song. “Boots On the Beach” This song describes my life loving both places Florida and Nashville. I spent many years in Nashville working on my craft as an artist and songwriter and love the magic in that city, but I'll forever be a Florida girl who needs the ocean close by.
