About Jesus Jones
Jesus Jones is a London-based group that began in the late 1980s, and quickly hit the mainstream with the ubiquitous end-of-the-Cold-War anthem, “Right Here, Right Now.” Part of an indie dance movement in British rock at the time, the band incorporated elements of underground dance, hip-hop, and electronics, along with traditional rock guitars and arrangements. After 1991’s enormous DOUBT, the Mike Reynolds-led band continued to release albums, though later critical and commercial success eluded them, relegating Jesus Jones to the mostly one-hit-wonder category.
