Animated Saarbrücken-based duo Genetikk features Karuzo and Sikk, both of whom produce and rap. They debuted in 2010 with Foetus, an album released as a free download, which led to a recording contract with the independent Selfmade label. They responded in 2012 with Voodoozirkus, but made their commercial breakthrough with their third album, D.N.A., which was released in 2013. The set, boosted with guest appearances from the RZA and Sido, topped Germany's album chart. ~ Andy Kellman
