Attila

The band took their name from Attila the Hun after discovering a book about the life of the infamous warlord. ∙ They describe their sound as “party death metal”—traditional hardcore mixed with rap and colorful lyrics, inspired by such bands as Korn and Limp Bizkit. ∙ Frontman Chris Fronzak has appeared on tracks by fellow metal and hardcore artists Issues, Our Last Night, and Sleeping With Sirens. ∙ In addition to founding “trap metal” duo Bone Crew, Fronzak has a solo hip-hop project called Fronzilla, whose debut, Party People’s Anthem, reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. ∙ The roster for Fronzak’s record label, Modern Empire Music, includes hardcore acts Bury Your Dead, Dropout Kings, and It Prevails. ∙ Fronzak—who has launched a clothing brand, mobile app, signature cologne, and consulting company—first went into business at age eight, selling used golf balls. ∙ In 2014, bassist Kalan Blehm debuted his ambient instrumental solo project, Frozen Forest.
