Bone Crew

With grinding down-tuned guitars together with ominous beats, American duo Bone Crew deliver self-described "trap metal" that could also be called "nu-metalcore." Formed by Attila frontman Chris Fronzak (billed here as Fronzilla) and Detroit emcee Da Boi J, Bone Crew were born in the late 2010s as the pair worked on the project in secret for over a year. Unveiled in 2018, the Bone Crew EP was issued on Fronz's own Stay Sick Records. Featuring the single "Back It Up" and "WDGAF" with Lil Toenail, Bone Crew debuted their brand of scream-bellowing combined with deft rap verses about girls, money, and mosh pits. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
