Thomas Azier

Thomas Azier makes moody yet highly dynamic synth pop centered on his robust singing voice. After releasing his full-length debut, Hylas, in 2014, Azier won a second Edison Award in his native Netherlands for his sophomore LP, Rouge, which charted in the Top 20 there. He continued to explore dramatic, sometimes orchestral synth pop on albums such as 2020's Love, Disorderly and his sixth long-player, 2023's The Inventory of Our Desire. He followed the latter album with short-form releases like 2023's seven-song Live Recording and 2025's more somber and minimalist studio EP Power to the People Who Don't Want It. The album from his performance art project Panoroma was set for release in 2026.
