Tell us why you chose this song. “Witch Doctor” De Staat has played major festivals including SXSW, Glastonbury, Lowlands, Sziget, Pukkelpop, Rock Werchter and Deichbrand and toured with bands like The Rolling Stones, Muse, and Biffy Clyro. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Their music - spanning industrial grooves, heavy riffs, experimental electronics, and pop sensibility - has been featured in global campaigns and games, winning Edison Awards, 3FM Awards and international critical acclaim. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? In 2026 the band returns with De Staat Becomes De Staat including a new album, live show and large-scale art installation developed with leading stage, light and visual artists.
