Victor & Leo

Sibling música sertaneja duo Victor & Leo broke through to mainstream success in Brazil in 2007 with Ao Vivo: Em Uberlândia. Born Vitor Chaves Zapalá Pimentel and Leonardo Chaves Zapalá Pimentel in Minas Gerais, Victor & Leo were active as musicians long before their mainstream breakthrough. In 2002 they released their debut album as a duo, Victor e Leo. Their next album, Vida Boa (2004), was a greater success and established them as a promising música sertaneja act on the rise. (The song "Fada" proved particularly popular.) Sony BMG signed Victor & Leo to a contract and in 2007 released Ao Vivo: Em Uberlândia. ~ Jason Birchmeier
