Cosmic Cathedral

Cosmic Cathedral are a 21st century progressive rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee. Its veteran members include guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Neal Morse, drummer Chester Thompson, guitarist/vocalist Phil Keaggy, and bassist Byron House. Morse informally jammed with the drummer and, taken with the music they made, re-enlisted him, along with old friends Keaggy and House, for additional jam sessions. They played several times and recorded the sessions. Morse's studio partner, Jerry Guidroz, combined various tracks and takes and added vocals later. He claims that Deep Water, the band's 2025 debut album, was primarily sourced from those sessions.
