In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I auditioned for chorus in Elementary school. I remember the sheer look of shock on Mr. Sheinhoff's face when he heard such a low voice coming out of the body of a little girl. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fiona Apple, Tidal Fugees, The Score (Expanded Edition) The Cranberries, Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? (The Complete Sessions 1991-1993) These albums had a tremendous impact on me as a songwriter and just as someone trying to stay alive regardless of the circumstances. Dr. Nowt)” I grew up in a time where anyone who looked like me was automatically classified as an R&B artist. Honestly, it still happens today. I'm proud to be among the black, indigenous and latino artists showcasing their work in this genre. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2018 I had the amazing opportunity of helping Ubisoft launch their first musical production with Joseph Gordon-Levitt's platform, HitRecord. I ended up working on 15+ songs for the video game, Beyond Good and Evil 2 and 5 for Watch Dogs: Legion. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to have one of my songs featured in a movie or television show.
