In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember playing my parents' piano when I was about two years old, which was a very old upright piano that they had been given as a wedding present. It was called a 'Dagmar', which is not a brand that I have seen ever since! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chicane, The Best of Chicane 1996-2009 Dire Straits, Brothers In Arms (Remastered 1996) Glen Barton Cortese, Manhattan School Of Music Chamber Sinfonia, Manhattan School Of Music Opera Singers, Holst: Savitiri - Vaughn Williams: The Lark Ascending - Britten: Sinfonietta Chicane is one of my biggest musical influences; I still remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard Saltwater for the first time! I grew up listening to Dire Straights, and I love romantic classical music so it has to be Vaughn Williams! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Want You 2 Stay” This was my first tech house release, co-written with my long time friend Andy Galea (aka Sol Brothers). We had so much fun writing this track together, and dance floors love it! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being one of three finalists in the UK Songwriting competition n the EDM / Dance Category was a big highlight, as well as being recognised on specialist ambient / ethereal / cinematic radio stations for some of my ambient tracks Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is SO much left on my bucket list, I need more buckets!!! I'd love to collaborate with Marsh and Nora En Pure, those are pretty high up on the (very long) list.
