Sabri Khan

Born in 1927 in Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, Sabri Khan has worked extensively as an accompanist for many of the greatest vocalists this century including Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Amir Khan, Omkarnath Takhur, the Dagar Brothers, Girija Devi and Kishori Amonkar. He also worked with Ravi Shankar on his Festival of India package in 1970. ~ Ken Hunt
