Upchuck

Filtering the classic sounds of hardcore punk through the volatile lenses of race, sex, and culture, the Georgia band Upchuck play with a fury and precision that the originators of the sound would no doubt recognize and admire. Starting off playing small gigs wherever they could, the band's incendiary live set and increasingly powerful albums -- like 2023's Ty Segall-produced Bite the Hand That Feeds -- led them to festival stages and a deal with Domino Records. 2025's I'm Nice Now was their first for the label and saw them branching out into more melodic territory, adding Latin influences, and staying true to their furious hardcore selves.
