In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents had a Gospel band called DJ & Lisa and Friends. They would perform at churches and lounges, and I used to sit in on their rehearsals. I even filled in from time to time on drums at a young age. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Commissioned, The Commissioned Reunion - "Live" D'Angelo, Voodoo Mk.gee, Two Star & The Dream Police "The Commissioned Reunion" laid a solid musical foundation for me as a kid. "Voodoo" changed my life and the trajectory of my career. "Two Star & The Dream Police" is a such a rich and textured record, and I love the tones. Tell us why you chose this song. “Could This Be Love?” this record was the turning point in my discography. this is when things got real. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I recorded my first live album in the spring of 2023. It's been a dream of mine to record one, and it turned out amazing. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to win a Grammy (as a solo artist and with Snacktime), and I want to perform at the Apollo Theater.
