The Launderettes

Hailing from Oslo, Norway, the all-girl band Launderettes make driving, sexy, and high-energy revivalist garage rock. Formed in 2000, the band has released a handful of singles as well as its debut album, Shaken and Disturbed, originally issued on Big Dipper Records in 2002. Every Heart Is a Time Bomb followed in 2005. In 2007, they released the compilation Fluff 'n' Fold: The Best of the Launderettes. ~ Matt Collar
