With monstrous riffs and rhythmic vocals that blend hip-hop and hardcore, Fox Lake makes energetic rock that recalls the intensity of the late-‘90s nu-metal boom on steroids. Cuts like “Gaslight,” “Freestyle,” “Pure Adrenaline,” and “Dog Eat Dog” would make fine soundtracks to any rage room in America -- though the group has managed to make inroads outside the borders of its home country, too.
