About We Are Messengers
Combining anthemic pop hooks with a message of faith, Christian rockers We Are Messengers rose to fame in the mid-2010s. ∙ Irish singer-songwriter Darren Mulligan, formerly the frontman of Christian rock outfit The Remission Flow, formed We Are Messengers after landing a record deal and relocating to Nashville in 2015. ∙ Their 2016 self-titled debut LP peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, and their 2019 follow-up EP, Honest, reached No. 7. ∙ We Are Messengers earned a Best New Artist nomination at the 2016 GMA Dove Awards. ∙ The band collaborated with award-winning Christian singer-songwriter Meredith Andrews on the 2018 single “Needing You Now.” ∙ Six of their singles have reached the Top 10 of Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart, and 2018’s “Maybe It’s Ok” went all the way to No. 2.
