About TENDER
James Cullen and Dan Cobb formed the London-based electro-pop duo TENDER in 2015 when the two were roommates. Recorded in their home studio, TENDER’s 2015 debut EP, Armour, went viral on streaming media and ultimately landed them a record deal. The song “Afternoon,” from their 2016 self-released EP II, appeared in the TV series How to Get Away With Murder—the first of several tracks to make their way to the screen. 2017’s “Nadir”—off of their full-length Modern Addiction—found a spot in the 2018 film To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, while the series Never Have I Ever featured both “Design” (from the duo’s 2016 EP EP III), “Slow Love” (from their 2019 album Fear of Falling Asleep), and the 2022 single “Touch.” With elevated synths and indie beats, the group has developed a funky fusion of rock and electronica (hear their 2024 album FLUX and the 2025 collab with Blood Moon Commune “Bloodshot”) across their catalog.
