Arjun Kanungo’s achievements are many and varied. The Mumbai-raised singer-songwriter is a national centre-fire pistol champion, a former basketball ace, an ex-metal band singer, a method actor and a talent whose meteoric rise in the Hindi pop industry has spawned multiple hit singles. He turned it up a notch in 2022 with debut album Industry—and its follow-up, Industry2, is littered with big collabs. Japanese rapper Cyber Rui adds depth to “India to Japan”, singer Zaeden’s breezy imprint is all over “Tu Hain” and a vocal duet with Shirley Setia makes “Sach Bata Mujhe” a nostalgic highlight.
