Pleasures - EP

Until the late 2000s, Harrdy Sandhu was a fast bowler. Injury pushed him to move on from the world of professional cricket but ever since he’s bowled over fans of his acting roles and his music. And the Punjabi and Hindi artist hits a six with Pleasures, a five-track EP drenched in tales of love and hedonism. While mostly sung in Punjabi, it’s a record distinctly inspired by global music trends. There’s acoustic guitar-led R&B and a peppering of English-language lyrics on “If You Want”, a euphoric synth-pop vibe on “Love Hate” and the subtle influence of drill beats that adds depth to the haunting “What is Love?”.
