Go to Heaven is the sound of the Dead getting a new lease on life. With the addition of keyboardist/singer Brent Mydland, the band welcomed the ‘80s with a fresh new face and their golden, rootsy sound intact. "Alabama Getaway" flexes their rock muscles, while the poignant “Saint of Circumstance" showed Bob Weir's continued growth as a songwriter. And Mydland's lead vocals on his own composition "Far from Me" underlines the grit and soul his arrival brought to the band.
