On their sixth album, emo superstars Hawthorne Heights evoke an auspicious summertime atmosphere. With lyrical images of road trips, sunshine, and good friends, guitarist/vocalist JT Woodruff and his bandmates banish bittersweet memories and failed relationships on the anthemic “Pink Hearts,” galloping riff-rocker “Crimson Sand,” and in the buoyant melodies of “Just Another Ghost.” Later, the moody explosion of the title track and raw-throated backing screams of “Push Me Away” lend the album some harder edges.
