Lane 8 takes us in and out of the club with this March 2026 mix. “I’ve been connecting a lot with my musical inspirations outside of dance music lately, which I’ve tried to represent in this mix, which opens with Geese, closes with The Clash, and also weaves in sections from one of my hip-hop favorites in ‘If I Ruled the World (Imagine That)’ by Nas and Lauryn Hill,” the Denver-based DJ/producer, also known as Daniel Goldstein, tells Apple Music. “But there also seems to be a lot of fresh and creative takes on club music around right now. And once I got in the groove of digging for them, I uncovered a rich seam of really fun and vibey dance music.” That includes “La vie à 2,” Demayä’s glowing remix of the Manu Chao classic, Wata Igarashi’s ambient excursion “Mineral,” Tinlicker’s pulsing “Mothership,” and Shimza and Elderbrook’s Afro-tech-driven “Falling.” “This is also the first mixtape of the 10th year of TNH [his label and event series], so I’ve got a lot of unreleased goodness from the label backed up,” Lane 8 says. “All in all, it’s made for one of the longer mixtapes in recent years but also one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed putting it together.”
