Charley Crockett

Charley Crockett taps into Americana mythos in his music, which suits someone who is a distant relative of Davy Crockett. Originally a blues singer, in time Crockett explored other American roots music, incorporating soul, gospel, and especially country. His distinctive, earthy signature can be heard on Lonesome as a Shadow, a 2018 LP that helped him consolidate a following in the Americana circuit. Signing a deal with Thirty Tigers with 2019's The Valley, Crockett became one of the hardest-working musicians in America. His 2022 album The Man from Waco expanded his following, snagging three Americana Music Honors & Awards nominations and setting the stage for the dual 2024 releases $10 Cowboy and Visions of Dallas. Crockett made his debut for Island Records the following year with Lonesome Drifter, and he prolifically released new albums like 2026's Age of the Ram.
