Foyone

Maverick Spanish rapper Foyone was born Pedro Navarro Utreta, in Málaga in 1991. While he entered hip-hop culture as a graffiti artist -- and would always retain an interest in design and imaging throughout his career -- by the early 2010s he had switched to freestyling. It was also around this time that Foyone started creating his first RapSinCorte installments, typically in the shape of one-take freestyle videos. Over the next 10-15 years the series spawned more than 50 singles and mixtapes, laying the foundation for a strong fan base in Spain and Latin America, albeit never crossing over into the mainstream. Very prolific, during the same period he released some 15 albums and mini-albums, as well as more than 70 singles and collaborations with colleagues such as Ayax & Prok, Akapellah, Kase O, Natos & Waor, and Toteking.
