Altered Five Blues Band

Milwaukee's Altered Five Blues Band are known for their muscular live shows and original take on contemporary electric blues. Active since the early 2000s, they cut their teeth around the Midwest for nearly a decade before rising to national success with award-winning albums like 2014's Cryin' Mercy and 2017's Charmed & Dangerous. The band's slow but steady growth allowed them to develop a strong musical chemistry that is apparent in their fiery interplay, deep grooves, and soulful songwriting. They have since become stalwarts of the Blind Pig label, notching back-to-back Top Ten hits on the Billboard Blues chart with 2019's Ten Thousand Watts and 2021's Holler if You Hear Me. 2026's Hammer & Chisel saw them again working with Grammy-winning producer Tom Hambridge.
