The Observatory

The Observatory are a Singapore-based experimental rock band who draw from electronica, space rock, and progressive rock, among other styles. Founded in 2002, the band is comprised of Leslie Low (vocals, guitar, programming, bass, harmonica), Vivian Wang (vocals, piano, keyboards, melodica, percussion), Dharma (guitar), Evan Tan (programming, keyboards, melodica, percussion), Victor Low (guitar, bass, glockenspiel), and Ray Aziz (drums, percussion). They made their recording debut in 2004 with the album Time of Rebirth. Subsequent album releases include Blank Walls (2005) and A Far Cry from Here (2007). ~ Jason Birchmeier
