About Eve's Plum

Eve's Plum formed in 1991 when vocalist Colleen Fitzpatrick and guitarist Michael Kotch met while studying at NYU. Kotch's twin brother Ben joined on drums, and after an assortment of bass players came and went, Theo Mack joined the band. Sony snapped up Eve's Plum after they had played the East Coast for only a year and released the group's debut envy in 1993. During 1993-1994, Eve's Plum showcased their driving live show on tours with Dig and Tripping Daisy; a new single "Eye" was recorded for the soundtrack to the movie Higher Learning. Second album Cherry Alive appeared in September 1995. Though they continued recording, the band split up after 1997. Fitzpatrick carried on with a solo career as Vitamin C. ~ John Bush
