About Cannons
Cannons is an American band whose dreamy music combines elements of electronica, indie rock, ’70s disco, and ’80s funk. ∙ Guitarist Ryan Clapham and drummer Paul Davis met and began playing music together while still in elementary school. ∙ Up All Night, the band’s first EP, was released in 2014. ∙ They initially garnered industry attention with 2015’s “Body Talk,” which was featured on an episode of TV’s Ballers. ∙ Shadows, Cannons’ acclaimed major-label debut, was released by Columbia in 2019. ∙ “Fire for You” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart in 2021 after it was featured on an episode of the TV series Never Have I Ever.
