The Champaign-Urbana indie band Centaur formed in 1999. The trio is made up of guitarist/vocalist Matt Talbott (from HUM, Honcho Overload, and more), bassist Derek Niedringhaus (of Big Bright Lights, among others), and drummer Jim Kelly (also from Sixteen Tons). ~ Joslyn Layne
