Polyphia

Boasting a twin-guitar attack, the Plano, Texas-formed band Polyphia spikes their instrumental prog-metal with shots of hip-hop and EDM. ∙ “Impassion,” the group’s breakthrough track from their debut release, Inspire - EP, went viral with a video that has more than three million views. ∙ Polyphia made the Billboard 200 chart in 2014 when they released their first album, Muse, which reached No. 76. ∙ Renaissance, their 2016 album, was produced by Nick Sampson (I See Stars, Asking Alexandria). ∙ Their work has featured such guest guitarists as All That Remains’ Jason Richardson (“Aviator,” “Nasty”) and Covet’s Yvette Young (“Rich Kids”). ∙ 2022's Remember That You Will Die features contributions from Steve Vai, $NOT, Chino Moreno, and Brasstracks.
